The referee ignored Boca Juniors fc's protests and gave John Böcklund a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Mish Fútbol Club's Hastomo Fitriansyah tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Fitriansyah. Boris Kerth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Ronaldo Fitriansyah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mish Fútbol Club and the Boca Juniors fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Ronaldo Fitriansyah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Ljusberg got free with Ryszard Kaczanek in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ljusberg came free, but Ryszard Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Boca Juniors fc's Ismael Bizen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boris Kerth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Ronaldo Fitriansyah made a precise shot to the right of Ryszard Kaczanek. Boca Juniors fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors fc's Constantino Remicio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Boris Kerth made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. Oliver Bierhoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Boris Kerth made a huge save. Albano Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryszard Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fitriansyah, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Erik Ljusberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Ljusberg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Kaczanek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Bizen in the 67th minute of play forced Mish Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Boris Kerth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Kaczanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Ljusberg in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Mish Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pepe Abastas hit a great ball. Erik Ljusberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ryszard Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryszard Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Ljusberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Kaczanek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Ljusberg's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fitriansyah came free, but Ryszard Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes Boca Juniors fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hastomo Fitriansyah who took care of the corner kick. Mish Fútbol Club's Hastomo Fitriansyah was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ryszard Kaczanek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ronaldo Fitriansyah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors fc's zone, Ronaldo Fitriansyah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Kaczanek came out of the goal and Ronaldo Fitriansyah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Böcklund hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors fc's Constantino Remicio got a free kick in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fitriansyah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ryszard Kaczanek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mish Fútbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
