When Syzran FC's Rudolf Parhalin, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Syzran FC. Rhys Colley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Ishbuldin having to interfere. The supporters of Syzran FC booed when Dakar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Nikitin in the 14th minute of play forced Dakar SC's goalkeeper Toby Grainger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Syzran FC's Nikita Laskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toby Grainger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adolf Ishbuldin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Arrowsmith in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, one of Dakar SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gennadiy Nikitin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Toby Grainger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gennadiy Nikitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Dakar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Frost to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dakar SC's zone, Gennadiy Nikitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toby Grainger came out of the goal and Gennadiy Nikitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Dakar SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Parhalin came free, but Toby Grainger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toby Grainger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Parhalin in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antony Galloway made a kick off. Nikita Laskov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Toby Grainger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adolf Ishbuldin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Frost in the 66th minute of play. Roger Arrowsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Ishbuldin having to interfere. Emmanuil Krylov struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Toby Grainger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syzran FC. Toby Grainger made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gennadiy Nikitin sent off a good shot on target. Emmanuil Krylov's late challenge caught a Dakar SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmanuil Krylov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Syzran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuil Krylov to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Dakar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Frost to maneuver through the defense. Nikita Laskov didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Syzran FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 90th minute Antony Galloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolf Ishbuldin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dakar SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Gennadiy Nikitin scored to the left of an out of position Toby Grainger, making the score, 0-5. When the final whistle went the supporters of Syzran FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Dakar SC side.
