Higinio Ostots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belo Olazaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Urquia in the 37th minute of play forced Malvinas's goalkeeper Higinio Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Tito Marroquin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damian Chesus scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Endira Seron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Malvinas's Higinio Ostots got control of the ball when Belo Olazaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argider Lomas in the 65th minute of play. Malvinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Damian Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endira Seron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
