Emiliano Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koča Madžgalj in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Arsenio Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Marcos FC and the Garda™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Marcos FC's Arsenio Asteri got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Strahinja Sredojević, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emiliano Betadur was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of San Marcos FC booed when Garda™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velimir Šojić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vojislav Franović got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rastislav Kruščić. Ruperto Norino struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Zlatan Perić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Marcos FC. In the 22nd minute of the match, Dejan Levnajić got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Betadur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zlatan Perić came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by San Marcos FC's Arsenio Asteri. But to his dismay, Arsenio Asteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's Ruperto Norino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zlatan Perić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Garda™'s zone, Celestino Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zlatan Perić came out of the goal and Celestino Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes of play San Marcos FC's Arsenio Asteri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to San Marcos FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arsenio Asteri hit a great ball. San Marcos FC's Emiliano Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Strahinja Sredojević in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Vojislav Franović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garda™'s Laza Rašić got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Strahinja Sredojević was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in San Marcos FC's zone, Dejan Levnajić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Betadur came out of the goal and Dejan Levnajić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zlatan Perić made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ruperto Norino sent off a good shot on target. With 58 minutes on the clock, Esteban Cilio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to San Marcos FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Esteban Cilio hit a great ball. Celestino Birjaio's late challenge caught a Garda™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Birjaio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, San Marcos FC's Celestino Birjaio got a free kick in the 64th minute. Emiliano Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Strahinja Sredojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to San Marcos FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Celestino Birjaio hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Strahinja Sredojević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the San Marcos FC defense, Strahinja Sredojević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Betadur. The San Marcos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Betadur should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute of the match Krsta Ristanić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Betadur skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the San Marcos FC defense, Dejan Levnajić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Betadur. The San Marcos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Betadur should have stopped the shot. Rastislav Kruščić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Garda™ were awarded a corner. Dejan Levnajić went to the cornerflag to take it. San Marcos FC's Emiliano Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Strahinja Sredojević in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Dejan Levnajić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Strahinja Sredojević's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Garda™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
