The supporters of Salmonella booed when Garda™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dejan Levnajić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th match minute, Garda™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidosav Šorgić to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strahinja Sredojević in the 10th minute of play forced Salmonella's goalkeeper Sérgio Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Augusto Correia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Salmonella's Naldo Brodel got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Salmonella getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jean Barbosa hit a great ball. Sérgio Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Strahinja Sredojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Vojislav Franović hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Matías Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Salmonella's Luisinho Barreto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zlatan Perić. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Vojislav Franović charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vojislav Franović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zlatan Perić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Hoffmann in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrianinho Hoffmann made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zlatan Perić was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goalkeeper Sérgio Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dejan Levnajić. Zlatan Perić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Salmonella getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Naldo Brodel hit a great ball. If Luisinho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Naldo Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmonella's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zlatan Perić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garda™'s Zlatan Perić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Brodel in the 79th minute of play. Naldo Brodel took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zlatan Perić. Zlatan Perić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Luisinho Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zlatan Perić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Naldo Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zlatan Perić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salmonella had played much better football throughout.
