After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Damian Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toby Grainger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rhys Colley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Santio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Rhys Colley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dakar SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhys Colley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Americo Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Arrowsmith lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Roger Arrowsmith kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Chesus in the 47th minute of play forced Dakar SC's goalkeeper Toby Grainger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dakar SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malvinas were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antony Galloway was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Damian Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Grainger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dakar SC's Toby Grainger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Chesus in the 56th minute of play. Dakar SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Damian Chesus scored to the left of an out of position Toby Grainger, making the score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Chesus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toby Grainger. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Anibal Ortzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toby Grainger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Damian Chesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toby Grainger came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Chesus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Damian Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toby Grainger was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Malvinas's Lucio Santio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toby Grainger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd minute Anibal Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Grainger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dakar SC's Allan Tinker got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Dakar SC's Toby Grainger got control of the ball when Damian Chesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Tome got free with Toby Grainger in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dakar SC's Toby Grainger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Ortzi in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Damian Chesus hit a great ball. The Dakar SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malvinas's performance. The match ended with a win for Malvinas.
