Teodoro Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Olazaran in the 3rd minute. In the 11th minute, Amílton Munhoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Endira Seron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Endira Seron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Munhoz in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Placeres getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Belo Olazaran hit a great ball. Amílton Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tito Marroquin fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Placeres's protests and gave Tito Marroquin a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Placeres got a freekick which was hit by Tito Marroquin. Belo Olazaran hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Belo Olazaran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Teodoro Salles made a huge save. Amílton Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endira Seron having to interfere. O Fantástico Jaspion's Amílton Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Urquia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Placeres's goalkeeper Endira Seron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Placeres's Endira Seron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Barros in the 44th minute of play. Endira Seron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Barros in the 45th minute of play. Belo Olazaran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Teodoro Salles made a huge save. Endira Seron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half O Fantástico Jaspion were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argider Lomas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tito Marroquin was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tito Marroquin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Placeres's Clemente Lortia got a free kick in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Placeres's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Barros came free, but Endira Seron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endira Seron having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Amílton Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Placeres's Endira Seron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Vânderson Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Endira Seron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amílton Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Argider Lomas fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Placeres's protests and gave Argider Lomas a yellow card for diving instead. 79 minutes in the game Pedrão Maia got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Francisco Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute Belo Olazaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Guardia hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
