After a defensive mix-up in Syzran FC's zone, Pôncio Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolf Ishbuldin came out of the goal and Pôncio Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Correia hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Haslemere FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gennadiy Nikitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolf Parhalin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
