Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) James Gichuki started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When John Muttendago came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Olmaroroi fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Muttendago couldn't finish the play. After 4 minutes of play, Olmaroroi fc's John Muttendago made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mickey Owino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sérgio Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Muttendago in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mickey Owino in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Velloso saved Salmonella from getting behind. Sérgio Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Gichuki, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Walter Kiptum came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Salmonella's Haroldo Rosa. But to his dismay, Haroldo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Matías Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, James Gichuki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zé Augusto Correia fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmonella's protests and gave Zé Augusto Correia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olmaroroi fc booed when Salmonella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, James Gichuki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olmaroroi fc's supporters rose to their feet, but James Gichuki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Naldo Brodel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Walter Kiptum, passed just outside the right post. Olmaroroi fc's Walter Kiptum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Olmaroroi fc from getting a goal against them. Sérgio Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Gichuki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olmaroroi fc's James Gichuki got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Salmonella's Zé Augusto Correia got a free kick in the 34th minute. Abdilatif Kimeu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goal looked a bit too open when James Gichuki came free, but Sérgio Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute James Gichuki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickey Owino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Gichuki in the 45th minute of play. Sérgio Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Muttendago in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mickey Owino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olmaroroi fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickey Owino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Olmaroroi fc booed when Salmonella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Kiptum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Hoffmann in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Mickey Owino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. 64 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goal looked a bit too open when James Gichuki came free, but Sérgio Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickey Owino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Sérgio Velloso made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Muttendago during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Muttendago kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Jean Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Adrianinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Kiptum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Olmaroroi fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Munyoro Mbugi to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Gichuki in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Gichuki in the 87th minute of play forced Salmonella's goalkeeper Sérgio Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Gichuki in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Gichuki in the 90th minute of play forced Salmonella's goalkeeper Sérgio Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Muttendago succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-8 in the 91st playminute. With a little luck, Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso got control of the ball when Mickey Owino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Olmaroroi fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salmonella.
