To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, 【AC】★御剑堂★希尔林's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Baker came free, but 雷辉夕 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Leigh defense, 徐诚烽 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Featherstone. The Leigh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Featherstone should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Leigh booed when 【AC】★御剑堂★希尔林 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. 唐皓帆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to 【AC】★御剑堂★希尔林 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. 俞平川 hit a great ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Baker to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ronnie Endean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 雷辉夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Leigh's Barry Dobson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 雷辉夕 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Ronnie Endean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 雷辉夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 石康坤 during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barry Dobson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 雷辉夕 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Dennis Baker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. 雷辉夕 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Victor Oates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Leigh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
