Sérgio Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas. The supporters of Malvinas booed when Salmonella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Malvinas's Damian Chesus tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Ortzi came free, but Sérgio Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Higinio Ostots was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Columbo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Salmonella getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Naldo Brodel hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Damian Chesus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sérgio Velloso, 1-1. With a little luck, Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso got control of the ball when Americo Tome tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salmonella's Matías Rodrigues got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Americo Tome recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Velloso. Americo Tome showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Luís Fabiano Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Damian Chesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sérgio Velloso stood somewhat misplaced when Damian Chesus came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 38 minute. 41 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goalkeeper Sérgio Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Tome. Damian Chesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sérgio Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Chesus slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Chesus to make the kick off. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Anibal Ortzi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Hoffmann got free with Higinio Ostots in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Americo Tome scored 5-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Americo Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Lucio Santio notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso. Sérgio Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sérgio Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Ortzi went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Malvinas booed when Salmonella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Malvinas's Jorge Guter got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Luisinho Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Adrianinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Luís Fabiano Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmonella's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Salmonella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Malvinas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
