The referee showed Rudolf Parhalin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rudolf Parhalin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Dakar SC booed when Syzran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristofor Aleev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dakar SC's Rhys Colley got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dakar SC's Toby Grainger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Arinbasarov in the 17th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Vance Dryden put in a rough tackle. Vance Dryden kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Dakar SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Parhalin came free, but Toby Grainger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Parhalin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Dakar SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Nikitin came free, but Toby Grainger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudolf Parhalin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toby Grainger. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. After some careless play in the Dakar SC defense, Nikita Laskov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toby Grainger. The Dakar SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toby Grainger should have stopped the shot. A well-hit corner resulted in Sergey Arinbasarov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Toby Grainger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Parhalin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dakar SC booed when Syzran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Parhalin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Syzran FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Antony Galloway scored to the left of an out of position Adolf Ishbuldin, making the score, 2-1. If Roger Arrowsmith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Paine's late challenge caught a Syzran FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Paine helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dakar SC's Quentin Paine got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Dakar SC defense, Nikita Laskov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toby Grainger. The Dakar SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toby Grainger should have stopped the shot. When Antony Galloway came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Dakar SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Galloway couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Allan Tinker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dakar SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syzran FC the free kick. Gennadiy Nikitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toby Grainger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Syzran FC's Gennadiy Nikitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toby Grainger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 78 played minutes Syzran FC got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Nikitin. Syzran FC's Adolf Ishbuldin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Galloway in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Syzran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristofor Aleev to maneuver through the defense. Roger Arrowsmith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toby Grainger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikita Laskov in the 95th minute of the match. Dakar SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
