Damian Chesus started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Emílio Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Ostots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Tome received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Lando came out and tried to block the shot, but Americo Tome slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Americo Tome in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Lando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the game, Damian Chesus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Lando. Damian Chesus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Haslemere FC's Carlos Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Ortzi in the 20th minute of play. Malvinas's Higinio Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Cruz in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malvinas's Robustiano Chinto got a free kick in the 24th minute. Higinio Ostots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alão Ganete, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Carlos Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Tome in the 28th minute of the match. If Americo Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Tome in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Lando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Haslemere FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Diamantino Areosa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pôncio Bastos in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Ostots prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Emílio Bastos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Higinio Ostots firmly grabbed it by the left post. Filiberto Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lucio Santio hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Henrique Correia fired a really elegant long shot, but Higinio Ostots threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 68 minutes of play, Malvinas's Damian Chesus made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Lando was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zé Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haslemere FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Ostots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Haslemere FC's Zé Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Ostots. That made the score 3-1 after 73 minutes of play. In the 76th of the match, Zé Cruz tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Higinio Ostots got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 78th minute of the match, Zé Cruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Ostots saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Magno Nascimento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Malvinas's Higinio Ostots did a great save. The supporters of Haslemere FC booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Cruz in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Tome in the 88th minute of play forced Haslemere FC's goalkeeper Carlos Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Curvelo's late challenge caught a Malvinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Curvelo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Haslemere FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Malvinas. Damian Chesus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Lando. 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Haslemere FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Malvinas.
