An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Chesus in the 17th minute of play forced San Marcos FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Melchor Tanio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Marcos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvinas the free kick. 24 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Tome came free, but Emiliano Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Norino hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Humberto Innocenzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Marcos FC's Emiliano Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Tome in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Asteri came free, but Higinio Ostots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruperto Norino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Malvinas's Americo Tome got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Betadur made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Filiberto Napier sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Malvinas's Jorge Guter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Arnaldo Jacindo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes San Marcos FC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Chepe. Americo Tome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Emiliano Betadur made a huge save. After 66th play minutes Americo Tome shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Emiliano Betadur and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, San Marcos FC's Humberto Innocenzio got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Arsenio Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Porfiro came free, but Higinio Ostots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Marcos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Lucio Santio scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Betadur, making the score, 0-6. In the 91st minute, Jorge Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 94th minute Damian Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malvinas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
