Antony Galloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Walter Kiptum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Rhys Colley made a precise shot to the right of Walter Kiptum. Olmaroroi fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Rodney Frost took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Walter Kiptum to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rhys Colley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dakar SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhys Colley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Kiptum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Phillip Lancaster kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, James Gichuki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olmaroroi fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 31 minutes into the match, Olmaroroi fc's goalkeeper Walter Kiptum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodney Frost. After a rather tough play, Dakar SC's Phillip Lancaster got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When James Gichuki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Toby Grainger was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Olmaroroi fc got a freekick which was hit by John Muttendago. James Gichuki charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed James Gichuki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dakar SC's Clive Warburton was substituted for Phillip Lancaster. James Gichuki kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 59th minute, Mickey Owino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olmaroroi fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Thanks to some nice moves Mickey Owino could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Toby Grainger however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Dakar SC defense, James Gichuki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toby Grainger. The Dakar SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toby Grainger should have stopped the shot. Roger Arrowsmith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Kiptum came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Dakar SC's Roger Arrowsmith. But to his dismay, Roger Arrowsmith quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. In the 75th minute, Rodney Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 minutes, Rhys Colley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dakar SC and the Olmaroroi fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 82 minutes into the match, Dakar SC's goalkeeper Toby Grainger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mickey Owino. Rhys Colley got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Dakar SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rhys Colley hit a great ball. Toby Grainger made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when John Muttendago sent off a good shot on target. Rodney Frost struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Walter Kiptum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dakar SC. Olmaroroi fc's Walter Kiptum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Galloway in the 97th minute of play.
