Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugeniusz Malewicki started the match with the kick off. Barry Dobson's late challenge caught a Działo Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barry Dobson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Leigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Dobson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Sebastian Trzaskoma put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Trevor Featherstone. Kazimierz Cebula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Baker in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Działo Fc's Napoleon Prusinowski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trevor Featherstone was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Napoleon Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Cebula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barry Dobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brad Deaconsfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trevor Featherstone came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Działo Fc's Eugeniusz Malewicki. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Malewicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leigh's Barry Dobson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Barry Dobson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. In the 39th minute, Barry Dobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Oates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trevor Featherstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Prusinowski in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Victor Oates made the kick off in the second half. Działo Fc's Napoleon Prusinowski got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trevor Featherstone came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Działo Fc's Sebastian Trzaskoma. But to his dismay, Sebastian Trzaskoma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Andy Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Cebula having to interfere. Victor Oates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kazimierz Cebula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Działo Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Prusinowski to maneuver through the defense. Victor Oates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kazimierz Cebula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Trzaskoma in the 69th minute of play forced Leigh's goalkeeper Trevor Featherstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Działo Fc's Kazimierz Cebula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Działo Fc from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Leigh booed when Działo Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Paciuszko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Baker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Kazimierz Cebula made a huge save. Leigh's Trevor Featherstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Trzaskoma in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Dennis Baker took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Kazimierz Cebula to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Victor Oates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Oates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Cebula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Działo Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
