Toby Grainger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Malewicki in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Działo Fc's goalkeeper Kazimierz Cebula, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Malewicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Toby Grainger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Dakar SC's Antony Galloway ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kazimierz Cebula. Kazimierz Cebula yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Kazimierz Cebula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antony Galloway in the 21st minute. Toby Grainger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Malewicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kazimierz Cebula was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Roger Arrowsmith capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roger Arrowsmith really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Rhys Colley might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kazimierz Cebula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rhys Colley ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Napoleon Prusinowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Działo Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dakar SC the free kick. Napoleon Prusinowski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Walery Dzerwucki hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Eugeniusz Malewicki came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Działo Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Malewicki couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes, Ross Beecham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dakar SC and the Działo Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, Działo Fc's Sebastian Trzaskoma made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toby Grainger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rhys Colley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kazimierz Cebula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Arrowsmith scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Cebula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Malewicki in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toby Grainger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rhys Colley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 78th minute of the match Napoleon Prusinowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Napoleon Prusinowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Napoleon Prusinowski hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Sebastian Trzaskoma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Toby Grainger made a huge save. Działo Fc's Kazimierz Cebula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Colley in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastian Trzaskoma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toby Grainger having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Działo Fc's zone, Roger Arrowsmith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Cebula came out of the goal and Roger Arrowsmith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rhys Colley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Cebula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Roger Arrowsmith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
