In the 4th minute, Zé Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Belaid Zitouni. The goal made the score 1-0. Pôncio Bastos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Belaid Zitouni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Zé Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camel Bessou struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Carlos Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preston AFC. In the 17thth minute of the game Camel Bessou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haslemere FC's Carlos Lando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mustapha Asma kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Belaid Zitouni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Cruz in the 27th minute of the match. Hamid Azem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Haslemere FC's Zé Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belaid Zitouni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Haslemere FC's zone, Hamid Azem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Lando came out of the goal and Hamid Azem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Pôncio Bastos made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Preston AFC's Belaid Zitouni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With his leg Carlos Lando managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Preston AFC's Camel Bessou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 57 minutes into the game, Bellemou Sellal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preston AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haslemere FC the free kick. The supporters of Haslemere FC booed when Preston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bellemou Sellal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haslemere FC's attack was well implemented in the 60th minute, but when Pôncio Bastos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Pôncio Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haslemere FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pôncio Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belaid Zitouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belaid Zitouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Cruz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Emílio Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haslemere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preston AFC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Haslemere FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Bastos. Belaid Zitouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pôncio Bastos's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Haslemere FC's Zé Cruz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belaid Zitouni was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes of play Preston AFC's Bellemou Sellal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Preston AFC's Bellemou Sellal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Pôncio Bastos scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belaid Zitouni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Haslemere FC booed when Preston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camel Bessou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Hamid Azem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Azem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustapha Asma's late challenge caught a Haslemere FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustapha Asma helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Preston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Asma. Pôncio Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belaid Zitouni having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Mebarek Bouzid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preston AFC and the Haslemere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Haslemere FC booed when Preston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mebarek Bouzid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belaid Zitouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th match minute, Haslemere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Nascimento to maneuver through the defense.
