Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Baltasar Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Artaldo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Lentini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Baggio came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Floriana Celtics from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Lentini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Testaferrata Viani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Thake to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Testaferrata Viani got free with Eustaquio Javiar in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 minutes of play, Floriana Celtics's Olgierd Dawiec made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Baltasar Artaldo put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Lentini. Eustaquio Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 62nd minute of the match. When Baltasar Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Baraja Española FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Artaldo couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Artaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Faustino Tono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baraja Española FC's László Illés was substituted for Natalio Raymon. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Lopez in the 73rd minute of the match. Jeremias Lopez took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Alex Testaferrata Viani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Javiar made a huge save.
