Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kyle Thake got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godwin Montesin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Testaferrata Viani could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Ysmael Marfil however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Olgierd Dawiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ysmael Marfil was a little too slow when Alex Testaferrata Viani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godwin Montesin was slow to take the kick. During this time Floriana Celtics's players had a chance to rest. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgio Caruana in the 18th minute of play. Richard Lentini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Félix in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Godwin Montesin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ysmael Marfil, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Vlădean in the 34th minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Richard Lentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moise Vlădean in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Lentini saved Floriana Celtics from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Lentini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 38 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Văduvescu. Olgierd Dawiec struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ysmael Marfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 43rd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner. Godwin Montesin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Godwin Montesin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgio Caruana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Cina was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Dawiec in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Ryszard Borcz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Richard Lentini, 4-2. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 61st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Olgierd Dawiec. But to his dismay, Olgierd Dawiec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Olgierd Dawiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Floriana Celtics's Jean Carl Testaferrata Moroni Viani was substituted for Janek Kanne. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godwin Montesin in the 74th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysmael Marfil should have stopped the shot.
