The corner went over the outstretched arms of KARAORMAN's goalie and right to Silvestre Tonio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KARAORMAN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to KARAORMAN getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ulf Prengel hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Tamulewicz. 19 minutes into the match, Kamionka Death SquaD's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Benzema came free, but Kasper Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Jerzy Tamulewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iona Lightfoot, 1-0. Jerzy Tamulewicz in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Iona Lightfoot made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jerzy Tamulewicz sent off a good shot on target. Kamionka Death SquaD's Oliver Bierhoff was substituted for Jerzy Tamulewicz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliver Bierhoff was the one to do the kick off. Iona Lightfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Iona Lightfoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Fioravanti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claudio Fioravanti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iona Lightfoot was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Luis Alberto Suárez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kamionka Death SquaD and the KARAORMAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kamionka Death SquaD getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luis Alberto Suárez hit a great ball.
