The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eric Öberg's late challenge caught a FC Pepsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The FC Pepsi fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when FC Pepsi's Lv Yuan Kuan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Per-Olof Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kanu Kanu in the 13th minute of play. Sivert Ahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lars Hedlund made a great header on FC Pepsi's corner, it was just that Grealish-Fylla's Per-Olof Isaksson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute Jonas Frykberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Holmstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Prudencio Elequemedo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt. Paul Holmstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per-Olof Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Grealish-Fylla getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Grealish-Fylla's Per-Olof Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Yuan Kuan in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Lv Yuan Kuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Olof Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 45th minute Jonas Frykberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Holmstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Grealish-Fylla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pepsi were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Elequemedo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 51st minute of play forced Grealish-Fylla's goalkeeper Per-Olof Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Olof Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Ekerot in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th play minute Kanu Kanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Per-Olof Isaksson. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Olof Isaksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Pepsi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
