Anier Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Atlético Montserrat's Qu Sen Yan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Jajesniak in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Owen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Asteri. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Daniel Skröder hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Atlético Montserrat's Cornelio Asteri threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 崔光笑, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 40 minutes of play, Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cornelio Asteri was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Michael Owen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Owen really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Serafino Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Serafino Ostots hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Baristo made a kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Atlético Montserrat's 崔光笑 made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceferino Iraido took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. If 崔光笑 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Damian Hondo. 72 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's Segundo Belarmo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 74 minutes into the game, 崔光笑 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Cornelio Asteri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Michael Owen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Cornelio Asteri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 minutes, 崔光笑 made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Qu Sen Yan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Asteri. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Asteri should have stopped the shot. The Atlético Montserrat fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 15-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cornelio Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔光笑, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Qu Sen Yan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Asteri. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qu Sen Yan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Montserrat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
