A very nice done corner allowed Petrică Măcriș to score against Esteban José Andrada in Guansa's goal. 1-0 after 7 minutes. The crowd rose to their feet as ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban José Andrada. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban José Andrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Txilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

In the 53rd match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Monclús to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Branislav Velchevski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that André Monclús's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban José Andrada was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Monclús was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 85th minute of the match, Eloy Aznar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Branislav Velchevski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Branislav Velchevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Aznar's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the last second Branislav Velchevski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eloy Aznar in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 88th minute, Jerzy Banach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban José Andrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Monclús, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Petrică Măcriș hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jerzy Banach made in the 97th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon.
