Maximino Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allen Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Maximino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Amir Lee got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximino Merexildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amir Lee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Merexildo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Carolo Llorenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Cascade Park West were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 70th minute Honorio Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Wang Sha Qian replaced Amir Lee. In the 72nd minute of the match TIBURON F.C got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paco Sancho ran over to the corner to take the kick.
