Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bingen Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Branislav Velchevski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
