Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luka Ljubenkovi膰 took the kick off in the first half of the match. 脫scar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Soon in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Saturnino Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting de Gij贸n's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Curcio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atahan Balon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asiz Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 脫scar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Ljubenkovi膰 in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Sporting de Gij贸n's Diego Maradona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atahan Balon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 19th minute Venancio Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Maradona in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luka Ljubenkovi膰 in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 脫scar Cordoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting de Gij贸n's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Urtzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Muchachos del 86's players had a chance to rest. Los Muchachos del 86's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Matias Bilintx scored to the left of an out of position Atahan Balon, making the score, 2-0. After 33 minutes of play, Los Muchachos del 86's J茅r茅mie Boix made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 脫scar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Boukouvalas. 47 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gij贸n's Diego Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atahan Balon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Bilintx to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Rooney in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luka Ljubenkovi膰 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. 脫scar Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 脫scar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Asiz Soon sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sporting de Gij贸n booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asiz Soon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sporting de Gij贸n's Kauan de Barros was substituted for Atilano Feo. In the 70th match minute, Sporting de Gij贸n was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Loiola to maneuver through the defense. When Sporting de Gij贸n's Wayne Rooney in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. 脫scar Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wayne Rooney's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Muchachos del 86 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting de Gij贸n.
