Waldo Renteria hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Qu Sen Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Montserrat's supporters rose to their feet, but Qu Sen Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Wilhelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qu Sen Yan. 9 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Sen Yan came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zula Jajesniak got free with Dario Wilhelm in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Owen in the 17th minute. Waldo Renteria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Zula Jajesniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Anastasio Rito threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cascade Park West's Rashad Richardson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 崔光笑 in the 28th minute of play. Amir Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Michael Owen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dario Wilhelm firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 32nd minute Qu Sen Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amir Lee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute Aurelio Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when 崔光笑 scored to the left of an out of position Dario Wilhelm, making the score, 1-0. Zula Jajesniak charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zula Jajesniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Zula Jajesniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes, Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cascade Park West reached it. Waldo Renteria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Atlético Montserrat made a substitution. Ceferino Iraido replaced Zula Jajesniak. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amir Lee was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Michael Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Skröder, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Amir Lee made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg. Atlético Montserrat's Jean-Jacques von der Schulenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Montserrat from getting a goal against them. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Owen in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Montserrat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cascade Park West had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
