A sloppy throw-in by Mustafa Ali Cansoy in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Valdomiro Ribeiro. Bai Yan Yong's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Valdomiro Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
