Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Best Playe started the match with the kick off. The supporters of United Arab Emirates booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darweesh Al Matrok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Best Playe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shah Braddell having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Best Playe came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morjan Al Sayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Chian in the 14th minute. Shah Braddell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Playe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. United Arab Emirates's Morjan Al Sayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Tan in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Rudy Chandran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Morjan Al Sayer. Rudy Chandran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Playe in the 38th minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morjan Al Sayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Seng in the 40th minute of play. Morjan Al Sayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chian in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The supporters of United Arab Emirates booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Best Playe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Best Playe. In the 61st minute Alexander Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morjan Al Sayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morjan Al Ateqi made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Singapore's Khai Chuan. Morjan Al Sayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 69th minute of play. When Singapore's Alexander Tan in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye United Arab Emirates's goalie prevented a goal. Shah Braddell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Best Playe in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Singapore's Rudy Chandran got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Best Playe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Shah Braddell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, Khai Chuan threw the ball into play from the sideline. United Arab Emirates's Lafi Al Hashash quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Chian in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Morjan Al Sayer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Morjan Al Ateqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Singapore's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
