The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirar Rashid got free with 김 담 in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, 최 명 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Latif Al Fakir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lebanon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for South Korea.
