Svetaslav Navojka came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgaria's Stanislav Búlgarov. But to his dismay, Stanislav Búlgarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Ruskov in the 23rd minute of play forced Belarus's goalkeeper Svetaslav Navojka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Stanislav Búlgarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pavlin Dragomirov took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svetaslav Navojka. Svetaslav Navojka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. With 31 minutes on the clock, Ivan Mezin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ivan Mezin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Lachezar Kavaldzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulgaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lachezar Kavaldzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Marko Ruskov notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka. Svetaslav Navojka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stanislav Búlgarov scored 0-9 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svetaslav Navojka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes of play, Bulgaria's Marko Ruskov made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svetaslav Navojka was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Belarus defense, Stanislav Búlgarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svetaslav Navojka. The Belarus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetaslav Navojka should have stopped the shot. 0-12 became the score in the 45th minute when Stanislav Georgiev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-12 lead.

Svetaslav Navojka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Georgiev in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bulgaria's Marko Ruskov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Svetaslav Navojka. That made the score 0-13 after 52 minutes of play. Belarus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Stanislav Búlgarov scored to the left of an out of position Svetaslav Navojka, making the score, 0-14. Svetaslav Navojka came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgaria's Stanislav Georgiev. But to his dismay, Stanislav Georgiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. 68 minutes into the match, Denimir Tzonkov notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka. Svetaslav Navojka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Denimir Tzonkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svetaslav Navojka. Belarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denimir Tzonkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17. After 73 played minutes Belarus got a freekick which was hit by Marat Lebedev. Svetaslav Navojka made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Stanislav Georgiev sent off a good shot on target. Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Belarus from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Parvan Dakelov could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Svetaslav Navojka however easily saved by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Belarus's goalkeeper Svetaslav Navojka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislav Georgiev. Svetaslav Navojka made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Parvan Dakelov sent off a good shot on target. Svetaslav Navojka came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgaria's Parvan Dakelov. But to his dismay, Parvan Dakelov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. Svetaslav Navojka made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Stanislav Búlgarov sent off a good shot on target. Belarus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Stanislav Búlgarov scored to the left of an out of position Svetaslav Navojka, making the score, 0-19.
