Belarus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. France's Samuel Izard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Svetaslav Navojka made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Réda Kolb sent off a good shot on target. Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Réda Kolb in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Réda Kolb in the 14th minute of play forced Belarus's goalkeeper Svetaslav Navojka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Belarus got a freekick which was hit by Pilip Mikhailov. France's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jocelyn Care in the 18th minute. Réda Kolb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Svetaslav Navojka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belarus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jocelyn Care was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to France's Diego Farges getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Réda Kolb in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svetaslav Navojka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. France were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Belarus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jocelyn Care took the corner. The corner ended in Jocelyn Care almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka did a great save. Svetaslav Navojka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Izard in the 31st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Réda Kolb took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Svetaslav Navojka to make any attempt to save it. France's Cheikh Barbereau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vadim Borisenko in the 36th minute of play. Samuel Izard hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pilip Mikhailov in the 40th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Cheikh Barbereau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Izard to strike the kick off in the second half. Réda Kolb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svetaslav Navojka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, one of Belarus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belarus. Svetaslav Navojka had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Samuel Izard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Réda Kolb might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Svetaslav Navojka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Réda Kolb ran back to his position shaking his head. Svetaslav Navojka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Réda Kolb in the 57th minute of the match. A hard shot 59 in the game by Pilip Mikhailov from a close distance when the talented Cheikh Barbereau managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. If Réda Kolb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belarus's Svetaslav Navojka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Réda Kolb in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute Harold Combettes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetaslav Navojka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetaslav Navojka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Izard, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. France's Pascal Laadal was substituted for Jocelyn Care. Konstantin Mezin made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arhip Talaiko however managed to control. Pilip Mikhailov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svetaslav Navojka came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Samuel Izard. But to his dismay, Samuel Izard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. France's Samuel Izard got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petr Lykov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Belarus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of France:s goal. In the 93rd minute, Harold Combettes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Svetaslav Navojka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Combettes went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Harold Combettes struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Svetaslav Navojka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The France fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belarus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
