Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nils-Åke Kinnman made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Sweden's Boris Ivarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Tolin. Boris Ivarsson shot from long distance in the 14th minute, but Bruno Antognoni was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 16th minute, Armando Natalucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Antognoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 22nd minute of play. Östen Högman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save. In the 35th minute Didi Skarsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Jacobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Högman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Natalucci made a kick off. In the 51st minute Nils-Åke Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Antognoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Kinnman in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Skarsø in the 58th minute of play forced Sweden's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sweden made a substitution. Alfred Mossberg replaced Östen Högman. Italy's Enzo Luongo was substituted for Armando Natalucci. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Costa in the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes Sweden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvaro Tolin who took care of the corner kick. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 71 played minutes Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Västberg. Isak Jacobsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Luongo in the 72nd minute. Sweden's Isak Jacobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sweden from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Käller scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Antognoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Sweden's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Antognoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boris Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Antognoni having to interfere. Birger Spetz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Isak Jacobsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Grilli in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 92nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Luongo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isak Jacobsson having to make a save. Isak Jacobsson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Enzo Luongo sent off a good shot on target. Italy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
