Ferruccio Zarillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Shaun Grigg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andorra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaun Grigg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferruccio Zarillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Caleb Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Larry Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Zarillo got free with Caleb Barrett in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andorra's attentive Kurt Milton managed to snatch the ball when Alessandro Mara made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. The supporters of Andorra booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Luongo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Andorra's Alex Martinez was substituted for Shaun Grigg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Luongo made a kick off. Caleb Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Luongo in the 56th minute of the match. Italy made a substitution. Armando Natalucci replaced Enzo Luongo. Andorra's Guillem Agulló was substituted for Larry Hallam. In the 62nd minute of the match Andorra got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reggie Land ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Andorra's corner Reggie Land fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Antognoni quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute Alex Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Zarillo in the 64th minute of play forced Andorra's goalkeeper Caleb Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Alex Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Armando Natalucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillem Agulló. 81 minutes into the match, Guillem Agulló had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Antognoni. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillem Agulló was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Caleb Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Grilli in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Trev Holden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Italy booed when Andorra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trev Holden didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Andorra getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kurt Milton hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Armando Natalucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caleb Barrett. Italy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Andorra for a fine match.
