In the 8th minute Branco FC were awarded a corner. Ludomil Gargasz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zuberbühler FC's goalie and right to Jessie Nangam. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zuberbühler FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Luisito Reynardo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Branco FC from getting a goal against them. Derk Borst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Branco FC's goalkeeper Esteban Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Branco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. German Tonete was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuberbühler FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in German Tonete almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Branco FC's Esteban Iigo did a great save. 龚扬强 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Gargasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 龚扬强 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Vergos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Branco FC's Esteban Iigo got control of the ball when Derk Borst tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Firman in the 77th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper 龚扬强 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Neto came free, but Esteban Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
