Måns Sandberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugen Jupân firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eugen Jupân made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Måns Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. Måns Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Eugen Jupân had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Måns Sandberg. 22 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugen Jupân narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Norrlands Athen got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Slivkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Lebron to maneuver through the defense. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Feroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Eugen Jupân had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Måns Sandberg. 32 minutes into the match, Måns Sandberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of DINAMO's Eugen Jupân. Eugen Jupân was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in DINAMO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira got a free kick in the 38th minute. Eugen Jupân didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Måns Sandberg went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Dorin Agârbiceanu in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Norrlands Athen's Giorgian De Arrascaeta. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Eugen Jupân came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 58 minutes, Måns Sandberg made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Calle Bergfelt replaced Wieslaw Wos. 65 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Eugen Jupân reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lebron in the 67th minute of play. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filcho Slivkov in the 73rd minute of play. Eugen Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Hermansson in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lebron in the 81st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Eugen Jupân to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Gilbert Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Eugen Jupân. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Eugen Jupân came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt. But to his dismay, Calle Bergfelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 91 minutes into the game, Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugen Jupân made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 94th minute Gilbert Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Jupân showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 95th minute of the match. Norrlands Athen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
