The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Pagomari got free with Halil Utku Evvah in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Opah Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Gologan in the 14th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bonilla. In the 23rd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Bonilla to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Alonso Villacorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GuateFortín's zone, Narcis Bunescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Opah Gol came out of the goal and Narcis Bunescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Bogrea came free, but Opah Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Bogrea might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Opah Gol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toader Bogrea ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toader Bogrea in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Opah Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toader Bogrea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Opah Gol saved GuateFortín from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Pagomari in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halil Utku Evvah saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Toader Bogrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GuateFortín's attentive Jorge Bonilla managed to snatch the ball when Cristi Dulca made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toader Bogrea was the one to do the kick off. Toader Bogrea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Opah Gol having to make a save. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Gigel Gologan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Opah Gol. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Opah Gol should have stopped the shot. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Pagomari in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Elias Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Utku Evvah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Opah Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Beșliu in the 64th minute of play. When Juan José Ferraro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Juan José Ferraro a yellow card for diving instead. Juan José Ferraro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. GuateFortín made a substitution. Milton Umaña replaced Victor Valenzuela. GuateFortín's Baltazar Fornos was substituted for Ernesto Fernandez. After 66 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Juan José Ferraro. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Opah Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Nechifor Beșliu advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 93rd minute. The GuateFortín fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eintracht Cernavoda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
