When Higinio Cordeara fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Branco FC's protests and gave Higinio Cordeara a yellow card for diving instead. 9 minutes into the game, one of Branco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, GuateFortín's Thiago Almada got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Esteban Iigo. Opah Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotiris Vergos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jessie Nangam in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Opah Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes, Rodolfo Jokin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Branco FC and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Jokin. Esteban Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Pagomari in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, GuateFortín's Elias Pagomari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esteban Iigo. Esteban Iigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 25th minute Sotiris Vergos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Almada. Esteban Iigo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Thiago Almada sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute of the match, Thiago Almada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Esteban Iigo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esteban Iigo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Ernesto Fernandez. But to his dismay, Ernesto Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Vergos came free, but Opah Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Opah Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessie Nangam in the 39th minute of play. Esteban Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Almada in the 41st minute of play. Elias Pagomari might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Iigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Pagomari ran back to his position shaking his head. Esteban Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Pagomari in the 43rd minute of play. Opah Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Vergos in the 45th minute of the match. Opah Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Almada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branco FC's Siro Dominguez was substituted for Leonides Eriz.

The wind increased when Elias Pagomari made the kick off in the second half. Evelio Tonio made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jessie Nangam however managed to control. 60 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Vergos came free, but Opah Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín made a substitution. Baltazar Fornos replaced Ernesto Fernandez. 67 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Vergos came free, but Opah Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baltazar Fornos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GuateFortín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Branco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
