The Eintracht Cernavoda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Utku Evvah should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's Toader Bogrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Safet Hands narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Emilian Bădulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eintracht Cernavoda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrlands Athen the free kick. After 13 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Bădulescu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Måns Sandberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halil Utku Evvah saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Dulca to maneuver through the defense. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Lebron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Halil Utku Evvah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrlands Athen. Halil Utku Evvah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 38th minute of play. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 40th minute of the match. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eintracht Cernavoda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig-Arne Deckberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Norrlands Athen's players had a chance to rest. Toader Bogrea might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safet Hands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toader Bogrea ran back to his position shaking his head. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Bogrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Toader Bogrea made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Måns Sandberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Halil Utku Evvah was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Dulca to maneuver through the defense. When Cristi Dulca fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eintracht Cernavoda's protests and gave Cristi Dulca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Cristi Dulca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. After 67 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Bâlea. In the 71st minute Nechifor Beșliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Jacinto da Silveira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eintracht Cernavoda's Narcis Bunescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Cui Guang Zhen got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Halil Utku Evvah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Utku Evvah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Hermansson in the 79th minute. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Gologan in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Boruc Domarecki hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Gilbert Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Utku Evvah came out of the goal and Gilbert Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cui Guang Zhen made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira. The Norrlands Athen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
