With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Duset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Thiago Almada got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Almada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emil Duset was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niclas Kielberg charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Kielberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
