Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 44th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Anastasiu during the 46th minute. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Miheș was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Hermansson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristi Miheș saved Armada from getting behind. The Norrlands Athen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norrlands Athen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
