The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Staffan Albäck during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Salah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Stellan Wallmark put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. With a little luck, DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache got control of the ball when Jarl Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarl Axelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Călin Feroiu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Călin Feroiu a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Călin Feroiu. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Basarab Zburliş got a free kick in the 95th minute.
