When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kylian Henry sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. If Kylian Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kylian Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Henry in the 19th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Boukouvalas in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Iosif Şiman made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Kylian Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Germano should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Armada booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Kylian Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Kylian Henry sent off a good shot on target. When Armada's Iosif Şiman in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Liviu Buceceanu replaced Kylian Henry. Carlos Germano was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Liviu Buceceanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liviu Buceceanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Armada's Liviu Buceceanu. But to his dismay, Liviu Buceceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. The Club Atlético Atlanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Armada's performance. The match ended with a win for Armada.
