The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Moberg got free with Alkın Uğursoy in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alkın Uğursoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasdi Abrika in the 9th minute of play. Alkın Uğursoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasdi Abrika, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kasdi Abrika came free, but Alkın Uğursoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save 1901 Black Stockings F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iskandar de Lara in the 16th minute of play forced Skulls FC's goalkeeper Chen Qi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasdi Abrika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkın Uğursoy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Moberg in the 19th minute of play forced 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Mehdi Fellahi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skulls FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1901 Black Stockings F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skulls FC's Mehdi Fellahi got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes 1901 Black Stockings F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gani Koçubey. In the 23rd minute of the match, Thorkild Falshøj got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alkın Uğursoy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alkın Uğursoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Iskandar de Lara sped through Skulls FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chen Qi. The supporters of Skulls FC booed when 1901 Black Stockings F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Koçubey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Iskandar de Lara notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Skulls FC's Chen Qi. Chen Qi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy got control of the ball when Kamel Zaaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alkın Uğursoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Moberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Skulls FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Răzvan to maneuver through the defense. Skulls FC made a substitution. Ali Koc replaced Kasdi Abrika. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iskandar de Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ali Koc came free, but Alkın Uğursoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Koc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alkın Uğursoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorkild Falshøj in the 82nd minute of play forced 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkın Uğursoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Koc's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Iskandar de Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Chen Qi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Salah Ahmed made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Gani Koçubey. Salah Ahmed missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alkın Uğursoy right hand side. The Skulls FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing 1901 Black Stockings F.C. to win.
