In the 15th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wellington de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Sauveur went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Wellington de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sauveur in the 20th minute of play. Bruno Sauveur scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington de Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uriel Ferrer took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington de Almeida. Wellington de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Gelacio in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington de Almeida saved Mayhem Sharks from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Lionel-Andrés Messi could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Wellington de Almeida however easily saved by the left post. 54 minutes into the game, Bruno Sauveur lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Wellington de Almeida. In the 56th match minute, Mayhem Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arcadio Valdés to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcadio Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ubaldo Gelacio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Defensores de Lombroso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Gelacio couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Sauveur. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida got control of the ball when Lionel-Andrés Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso's Lucio Cordarrol was substituted for Federico Pirro. Bruno Sauveur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Ubaldo Gelacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Wellington de Almeida made a huge save.
