The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Osikowicz got free with Yıldırım Yaman in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Tuncer İribaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Daman in the 15th minute of play forced TS Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Adriano Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evren Tanfer's late challenge caught a TS Wisła Kraków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evren Tanfer helped the player get up and apologised. Gustaw Golec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yıldırım Yaman came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaw Golec slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Barnaba Osikowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 50 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Emirşah Serdinç. Witalis Gargasz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Adriano Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evren Tanfer in the 53rd minute of the match. Yıldırım Yaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damrong Pinta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Osikowicz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldırım Yaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Golec came free, but Yıldırım Yaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gazi Seralp hit a great ball. TS Wisła Kraków made a substitution. Cezary Kielb replaced Beniamin Lech. Yıldırım Yaman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Witalis Gargasz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldırım Yaman should have stopped the shot. Yıldırım Yaman came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by TS Wisła Kraków's Barnaba Osikowicz. But to his dismay, Barnaba Osikowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 81st match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evren Tanfer to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Daman in the 87th minute of the match. TS Wisła Kraków's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Golec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yıldırım Yaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fenerbahçe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TS Wisła Kraków.
