Godo Gøl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marquinhos Diniz's late challenge caught a FC Lugano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Reaalne Madrid JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Raul Rähn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Kjellberg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Reaalne Madrid JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jakob Räim hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Reaalne Madrid JK got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Sepp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Jian in the 45th minute of play forced Reaalne Madrid JK's goalkeeper Raul Rähn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Rähn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Jian in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qiao Jian made a kick off. After 53 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Racine. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Qiao Jian hit a great ball. Qiao Jian took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Rähn. Raul Rähn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. FC Lugano's Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg was substituted for Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taimo Kaalikas in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Rähn was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 70 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Pattharawut Sirikeartkumjorn. Godo Gøl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lukasz Bendyk. After 93 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Rähn was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Lugano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
