Mil Vandamme scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Gramet in the 89th minute of play forced TS Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Adriano Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes TS Wisła Kraków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marc Vermeulen who took care of the corner kick.
