Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Firman in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kolkhis Papadakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Kent Sjöö made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Oidor. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alvaro Oidor made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Kent Sjöö sent off a good shot on target. In the 26thth minute of the game Adolf Fratev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFK Petržalka's Kolkhis Papadakos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adolf Fratev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Fratev came free, but Kolkhis Papadakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Kolkhis Papadakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Fratev in the 32nd minute of play. Roland Záhoran's late challenge caught a ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Záhoran helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Peter Hvižďák charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Hvižďák the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kolkhis Papadakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Fratev, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Fratev in the 44th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Kolkhis Papadakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Usain Bolt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Alvaro Oidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Sjöö in the 49th minute. In the 49th minute, Kent Sjöö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Záhoran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Oidor came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Kent Sjöö. But to his dismay, Kent Sjöö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kent Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Sjöö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolf Fratev struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kolkhis Papadakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARedonditos de Ricota CFK. Kolkhis Papadakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Fratev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Záhoran in the 80th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on AFK Petržalka's corner Peter Hvižďák fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvaro Oidor quite easily take care of the ball. Mário Sauer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Tomáš Rigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Domingo Savier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AFK Petržalka's zone, Adolf Fratev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kolkhis Papadakos came out of the goal and Adolf Fratev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolf Fratev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kolkhis Papadakos having to make a save. AFK Petržalka's Kolkhis Papadakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. Adolf Fratev ran back to his position shaking his head.
